Twelve-month position lasting from September 2006-August 2007. Interns will have the option to stay for another twelve months.

The primary responsibility of the intern is to work as an English-language instructor at Logos Academy in Hong Kong (www.logosacademy.edu.hk). Logos Academy is a private Christian school serving students in grades 1-11. Interns at the school will be responsible for teaching English language courses with a curriculum in development and revision during the academic school year. As such, responsibilities will include providing assistance in the area of curriculum development and editing, lesson plan creation under the supervision of Logos' supervisory staff and outside experts, in addition to teaching daily English classes to non-native speakers in various grades.

One of the goals of Logos Academy is to create a model English language program in Hong Kong, and the interns will play a direct role in helping to foster interactive, stimulating and enjoyable English language classrooms that produce students eager to learn English for daily and academic use. Creativity is key!
